A kitchen remodel generates debris that needs a dumpster. A new outbuilding needs excavation and grading before it needs anything else. A property cleanup might call for demolition of an old shed, hauling of the debris, and a load of gravel to fix the driveway that took a beating from the equipment. These jobs overlap constantly, and hiring separate vendors for each piece means more phone calls, more scheduling conflicts, and more chances for something to fall through the cracks.
Container Man handles all of it under one roof. Whether your project is strictly a dumpster rental or a multi-step site work job, you’re working with the same local company from Elizabethton, TN, from start to finish – one point of contact, one crew that knows your property, and pricing that’s either flat-rate or clearly scoped from the start.
Five services, one company and one call. Pick the one you need – or call (423) 431-9267 if the job needs more than one.
10, 15, 20, 30 and 40-yard containers on a flat seven-day rate from $195.
Digging, grading, land clearing and site prep, with our own trucks hauling the spoil.
Fill dirt for building up low spots and site prep, spread and graded if you need.
Shale bases and driveway gravel, with grading before the material lands.
Contractors working across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia rely on Container Man because we show up as a dependable subcontractor on the site work and hauling side of a project, without the runaround of a large regional company. Homeowners choose us for the same reason: a locally owned business based in Elizabethton, TN that answers the phone, gives a straight quote, and shows up when scheduled.

Excavation and grading work on site
A roll-off dumpster set down on a job site
Roll-off dumpster rental in 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40-yard sizes, plus excavation, grading and land clearing, demolition, and delivery of fill dirt, shale and driveway gravel. One company and our own trucks, so a single call covers the container and the dirt work.
Yes, and it is the main reason customers call us. The container is on site for the debris while the crew handles the digging or tear-down, and we haul the spoil away as the job goes rather than leaving you to arrange a second contractor.
Dumpster rentals are flat-rate, so we can price those immediately. Excavation, demolition and material deliveries are quoted on the scope of your job – call (423) 431-9267 and describe it and we will give you a straight number.
Yes. Container Man LLC is based in Elizabethton, TN and is locally owned. The trucks, the containers and the crew are all ours – you are not booking through a national call centre that dispatches a subcontractor.
A 10 or 15-yard is $195, a 20-yard is $295, a 30-yard is $395 and a 40-yard is $495. Each is a flat rate for a full seven-day rental, plus a $225 haul fee that covers delivery and pickup. There is no separate dump fee on top. A standard weight allowance is included in the flat rate and we confirm it with you when you book.
Most containers are on site within one to two business days. Call (423) 431-9267 with your dates and we will tell you honestly what we can make work. We deliver Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
The haul fee covers both the delivery of the container to your site in the Tri-Cities and the pickup once you are finished. It applies to every rental and is quoted up front, so the price you are told is the price you pay.
A standard weight allowance is included in the flat rate. Heavy material like concrete, brick, dirt and shingles adds up far faster than household junk, so tell us what you are loading when you book and we will confirm the allowance and the right size for the job.
Seven days, included in the flat rate. That is a full week from delivery, not a part-day or 48-hour window.
Call us before the seven days are up and we will work it out. It is far easier to arrange an extension in advance than to sort it out after the pickup is scheduled.
Electronics and TVs, tires, paint, batteries, chemicals and hazardous waste, refrigerators and air conditioners containing refrigerant, propane tanks, medical or biohazard waste, and asbestos. These need to go to a dedicated recycling centre or hazardous waste facility. Everything else – household junk, furniture, construction debris and yard waste – is fine.
Yes, but heavy material is usually best in a 10 or 15-yard container rather than a large one, because weight becomes the limit long before space does. Tell us it is a heavy load when you book so we send the right container.
No. The load has to sit level with the top of the container so it can be legally and safely tarped and hauled. If material is stacked above the rail we may not be able to take it that day, so keep it level as you load.
Allow roughly 60 feet of straight clearance in front of the drop spot and around 12 feet of width, plus clear overhead room – the truck lifts the container high to set it down. Low branches and power lines are the usual obstacles.
Roll-off containers are heavy and are set down on wheels and rails. If you are concerned about a finished or newly sealed driveway, tell the driver and lay plywood on the drop spot – it spreads the load and is the simplest protection.
Please do not. Once it is set it should stay where the driver placed it. Moving a loaded container risks injury and property damage, and it may not be positioned for the truck to collect it. If the spot is wrong, call us and we will sort it.
Yes. We work with homeowners doing a one-off clean-out and with contractors running ongoing jobs in the Tri-Cities. If you need containers swapped as a build progresses, call and we will schedule around your programme.
Yes. We also run excavation, grading, land clearing and demolition, and we deliver fill dirt, shale and driveway gravel. It is the same crew and our own trucks, so one call covers the container and the dirt work.
We deliver and collect Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and we are closed at the weekend. Call (423) 431-9267 during those hours and you will speak to someone who can give you a straight answer.
